2020 was a shit show to say the least. But among the dark that swept the world were beams of light. Of hope. Of change. Of revolution. This includes the Black Lives Matter movement. Inspired by the voices and community around me (virtually), I felt compelled to spread awareness. I created and sold an 8x10 print in which all proceeds went to the ACLU—the American Civil Liberties Union. The lively patterns symbolize the rich African American culture that has influenced our country immensely.
